Sonia & Andy Saxon
Bagibeli Beginnings JW
This is Bertha, our first homebred Bulldog and a big winner in the show ring. She had a 2nd in Limit Bitch at Crufts 2002.
This is Mavis, a daughter of Bagibeli Beginnings JW, and a stunning show dog. She won a RCC at the Junior Bulldog Club show, but sadly died of cancer at 4 years old.
Bagibeli Bitter N Twisted
Bert has had a successful show career winning a RCC at the Bulldog Club Inc show, and a 3rd in Limit dog at Crufts 2009. His head qualities in particular have been admired by many. He is at stud, producing standard size healthy, quality puppies
Elsie has only been shown lightly but has nevertheless notched up good wins, particularly at Breed Club open shows.
Located near Lichfield in South Staffordshire we are a well respected husband and wife kennel, successful in the show ring and active committee members of the East Midland Bulldog Club.
Sonia is an international championship show judge awarding CCs in both Bulldogs and Pugs. In recent years she has judged in Holland, Spain, Italy and Denmark.
Having been brought up with dogs (the family owning Boxers, Pekingese, Bullmastiffs and Great Danes) Sonia began exhibiting Pugs in the 1980s, making up Champions, under the Danjak affix.
We had our first Bulldog, a rescue, in 1989 and began showing again in 1998. Our first homebred Bulldog, Bagibeli Beginnings, gained her Junior Warrant and her daughter, Bagibeli Bossanova, a RCC. In recent years we have campaigned Bagibeli Bittersweet JW, Bagibeli Bitter N Twisted (RCC) and Bagibeli Babycham.
Whilst we meet all the requirements of the Kennel Club accredited breeder scheme, we generally only have one litter a year and then primarily to breed something better for the show ring. All matings are carefully researched in our goal to produce quality, healthy and active bulldogs typical of the best of the breed.
