Silkdance Highland Affair (Ceilidh)

My beautiful Ceilidh, dam of Whisterfield Jack The Lad among Silkdance, Whisterfield Wild Orchid of Shuleah, and Whisterfield Jack Be Nimble.

Ceilidh was placed at Crufts every year between 2004 and 2007 inclusive.

At Crufts 2007 Ceilidh won the Racing/Coursing Bitch class and was placed VHC in the Undergraduate Bitch class, judge Jackie Norman.

She qualified for the Veteran Class at Crufts 2011 at the Northern Counties Whippet Club Championship Show under Jackie Norman (Jarmane).

I am very lucky to have been given my foundation bitch by Catriona Price of Silkdance whippets soon after the tragic death of Shuleah Scheherazade. She not only incorporates the blood lines I admire, but also has a very sweet and loving nature. Her only fault (if you can call it a fault... - I don't!) is that she is incapable of chasing anything she cannot eat.

Hugo is Ceilidh's son by Barmoll Beekeeper to Whipowil, whelped 5th March 2009.

He gained his Junior Warrant in July 2010 at the age of 16 months.

Whisterfield Wild Orchid of Shuleah (Cristobel)

Ceilidh's daughter by Shuleah Singing In The Rain at Whisterfield, Best Puppy in Show at the Whippet Club Member's Show held in January 2006 under Elaine Walker and Veronica Hill.

Cristobel gained her Stud Book Number a few days after her third birthday on 12th June 2008 at Three Counties, 3rd in a Limit Bitch class of 21 under Molly McConkey, handled by Catriona Price of Silkdance whippets.

Lily is by CH Maidenbower Kittiwake x Whisterfield Wild Orchid. She gained her Junior Warrant just three days' out of puppy at SKC in August winning the Puppy Bitch class under Jeff Horswell.
