Max in the snow
Max, Mum and son in the sun!
All our dogs are firstly family pets. Currently at Renevis Terriers we have Welsh Terriers, and in the past Westies. I am a Kennel Club Assured Breeder since 2010. 'Ruby' our first welsh terrier came from one of the oldest kennels - 'Felstead' down in South Wales owned by Emlyn Snow. I showed her winning many firsts at Championship Shows including Crufts 08, 09. Max who is my only male and is a CHAMPION, winning many best puppy in shows, gaining his Sh.CM title at just 11 months and gained his title in 2012 winning 4 CC's, 3 Reserve CC's and 4 Best in Breeds. Max is a very special dog to me, not just because he is my first CHAMPION but because he is so affectionate, playful and so loyal to me.
All my dogs have exceptionally good temperaments and fantastic coat and colour which is typical from the Felstead Kennels. For those who are new to this breed, go to the Welshterrierclub website for more info on this beautiful breed.
All my 5 dogs are very healthy, with no apparent health problems. The only reason I breed is to keep a pup to show if I feel they are good enough.
Healthy, happy dogs are so important to me which is why our dogs have a minimum of one hours walk every day, rain or shine, enjoying the freedom of off lead walks. They usually come home then to a juicy raw bone to occupy their morning outside. The rest of the day is usually inside on the couch, never to far from me!
I enjoy obedience training my dogs and used to help out at our local dog club either in obedience or in Ringcraft. Ruby passed her KC Silver Good Citizens Award in 2010 and participated in Lure Chasing which all terriers enjoy. My children enjoy teaching agility in the garden which keeps them fit too!
