DOVEMERE BORDER COLLIES

Dovemere is our Kennel Club affix. I'm a KC Accredited Breeder, and a member of The Border Collie Club of Great Britain.

Dovemere Border Collies are situated in a rural village in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. We are approximately 5 miles from junction 18 (Holmes Chapel) and 7 miles from junction 19 (Knutsford) of the M6.

We bred our first litter of seven puppies in April 2009 - six girls and one boy - and each puppy has made a superb start in training for the agility and obedience rings. They have also made wonderful pets, due to their good temperament. One of these puppies, Chief, has started competion in 2011 - she was unplaced in her first two outings, but was placed 2nd at Shrewsbury in the 'large' agility. She is doing very well now, and had numerous firsts in her class.

Another puppy from this litter has won 'The Most Improved Dog' award in their club.

Our second litter of four boys and two girls were born in 2010, have all gone to good homes, and we have high hopes for them too.

Our third litter was born in October 2011, three girls and a boy.

In 2011 Jess became a Grandmother, when Dovemere Daisy became a mum.

Our next and last litter will be early 2013. We are only allowed to register four litters.
