I have owned German Shepherd Dogs since 1980, with my first being Leda Waterdell of Harco. I trained Leda to a very respectable level of obedience at club level and in 1983 she had a litter of 10 puppies (my first ever litter), one of which was the gorgeous and very successful Ch. Rhea of Saturn .

I trained and handled Rhea at every show and she gained her title in 1989 at Richmond Championship Show, where she went BOB, winner of the Working Group and Best in Show, this was the pinnacle of both my and her show career. I still continued training her in obedience at club level and managed to train her to do a decent ‘A’ test.

Rhea had one litter and I kept a dog and bitch from that litter who I only showed lightly gaining a RCC with Faye.

I ‘disappeared’ from the show scene for a few years returning in 2006 to handle the gorgeous Steed - Jasueter Silver Lewis for Apuldora, achieving JW, ShCM, 1CC and 2RCC.

I competed in obedience with my super Flick (Jasueter Song ‘n’ Dance of Harco) at open and championship shows and she won out of novice but did not enjoy 'A' as she really did not like doing the out of sight stays and not being able to see her Mum.

Flick had a litter of puppies in November 2010 and I kept the adorable Harco's Lindyhop who was successfully shown in Open and Championship shows with many Best Puppy, Pastoral group 1 - 4, Best Puppy in Show and Best of Breed to her credit. She now competes in obedience which she thoroughly enjoys and before taking time off for her maternal duties was regularly placed in novice.

Lindy has now had a really super litter of puppies and I will be keeping a sweet little girl who will be called Axi and she has has a lot to live up to following in the footsteps of her Mum and Grandmother.

My dogs are very much family pets and live indoors as family members, and are a joy and pleasure to own.
