My name is Julia Beevers, I have owned Weimaraners for twenty years, never a dull moment with a weimar around! I can't actually remember my first sight of a Weimaraner but, what I do remember is the feeling I had! I knew that when I was old enough I was going to have my own.
My first Weimaraner was a male,
I was absolutely 'smitten' he was everything I had dreamed of and more, he was fun to be around, loyal, he 'loved life' as they all do, he was kept/loved just as a pet but, I also knew that I would one-day love to own multiple Weimaraner's and I wanted to spend time with them, doing exactly what they do best- they are at their happiest when doing a job! And here I am today fulfilling that dream with a fantastic Breed of Dog.

Our 2 year old bitch and I have enjoyed training days along with the North of England Weimaraner Society. All good fun and good practice for the real events! A very good day out socially for both owner and dog!
We currently work with our local shoot most weeks throughout the season, a job Esta thoroughly enjoys and is good at.

Our two Weimaraners have both been lightly shown at open and at Champ shows, (although I decided that this was not the way I personally wanted to continue life with our dogs - as this is not always something that everyone enjoys, I still love to watch and take an interest in how exceptionally well the Parents and litter-mates of our dogs perform at shows) at which they both did well.

Our Weimaraners have also both completed their Bronze & Silver Good Citizen Awards.

We also have Bracco Italiano (ALL CURRENT RECOMMENDED HEALTH TESTS COMPLETED -kidney's tested april 2011) whose temperament is quite different to that of the Weimar in that they are a little more 'laid back!' Equally happy whilst at work. We have plans to take our Bracco along to the local shoot, another breed who is happiest while at 'work'.

All of our dogs live in the house with us as a family, we have two young daughter's who thoroughly enjoy their company, as do my husband and I, we would never be without them the pleasure they bring to our family cannot be measured. We all enjoy taking them out for their exercise, the girls have also shown an interest in training, the dogs are always willing students and show no prejudice!

With both our breeds we will endeavour to produce litters with good temperament, by using only the finest 'sire' who is proven to have good temperament and sound of health, all of which is first and foremost in our minds inorder to reproduce these very outstanding breds .
