Welcome to Shaggiesnewfs.
After owning German Shephards for more than 20 years,i made a decision to buy my first newfoundland,Oreo,and have never looked back. She is a beautiful girl and has such a lovely temperment and we all know what it's like,you can't only have one.! Boo came along a year later and taught everyone in the house how to act like a proper newfie.!! She is absolutely gorgeous,so gets away with murder. Back to join the newfie family in March 2011,Cooper,from Oreo's litter in 2010.

We had our first litter of puppies in June 2010 from Oreo and we bred for temperment and behaviour,so fingers crossed they are like their mummy. She had 13 puppies in total and was an amazing mother. And of course,there was lots of help from Aunty Boo. I breed to add to my own stock and am what you might call a 'hobby breeder'. I only ever intend to breed healthy,sociable puppies and cant ever say that they will be of show quality,but to me,they will be the best puppies ever.!

My newfoundlands are pets that live in a busy home with my kids and other pets,including a german shepherd and a Leopard Tortoise. I do not show any of my dogs(yet),but i do water training with them and they are naturals.
