Our first Alaskan Malamute, Learn't a lot from her, very much got us hooked, soon to then expand our gorgeous pack with Indy!

We didn't feel it was right to breed from Kura and had her spade in Spring 2010, now she enjoys a full life out on the Bike or Rig everyday!

In spring 2010 Indy gained his Working Pack Dog Title (WPD) to prove his isn't just a pretty face lol

This is our boy wonder, from the first time he hit the show ring he did it in style, winning BPIB (Best Puppy in Breed), at his first Champ show taking BPD (Best Puppy Dog) and qualifing for Crufts, he continues to follow in his Famous Father and Grandfathers paw steps as you can imagine we are very proud!

We are a Small Kennel with BIG ambition who has health of the breed at its heart (ALL of our dogs are hip scored,eye tested,DNA tested and profiled for the CHIC data base in the USA), bringing in new bloodlines from abroad to hopefully improve the breed for the better!

At the moment we have 5 Malamutes, but watch this space with upcoming breeding plans, we intend to slowly build a kennel of quality Malamutes, who are not only fit and healthly but fit for function, we are members of the Kennel Club Accredited Breeders Scheme, the Alaskan Malamute Club UK and the Alaskan Malamute Club of America.

I am also currently serving on the AMCUK and the AMCA (USA Club) Health Sub Committees, where i hope to help the breed for the present and future!

I have shown my dogs in Europe and the USA at the highest level and extremely proud of all they have achieved.

We do work our pack, but not at a competitive level, more for fun and too keep them fit/healthy.

We situated in Huntingdon a three and a half acre Malamute wonderland, where we can also be an ECO friendly Kennel, which is very important to us. We are in the process of getting a wind turbine and Solar panels.

As the future generation of breeder, I also feel that knowledge is power attending many Breed/Health related seminars held by the AHT (Animal Health Trust) AMCUK and the AMCA, so if you wish to learn more about the Alaskan Malamute or Meet the Pack, drop me an email , we are more than happy to help! :-)) katabaticmals@yahoo.com
