Sharmus Whippets

To date, Hubble (Chibuku Political Agenda at Sharmus) has been extremely successful in the show ring, having won many championship first prizes, as well as winning Hound Groups at open show level. He has also won the Reserve Challenge Certificate at the Three Counties show in 2009 under breed specialist Lucinda Aldrich-Blake.


A puppy from Hubble's first litter (Railfield Rainflower) is being very successful in the ring, winning many first prizes at Championship Show level including BEST PUPPY BITCH at CRUFTS 2009 and the Reserve Bitch CC at North Eastern Whippet Society's show in November 2009. She also has her Junior Warrant

Woody (Drakesoak Seatle Slew at Sharmus) has also done extremely well in the show ring, winning the Reserve Challenge Certificate at Bath in 2008 under breed specialist judge, the late Mrs Caroline Brown. He has also been Best in Show at Totnes & District show, Best Dog at The South West Whippet Club show and was 2nd in his class at Crufts. He has also shown promise as a lure coursing dog on the few occasions he has competed.

Now competing in veteran classes, Woody is doing extremely well at Championship show level and has cottoned on to the fact that at breed club shows, the veterans get a sausage which goes down a treat!

I have owned and shown whippets for over 30 years and am currently campaigning two dogs who carry the very best of the famous "Oakbark" bloodlines
