Mrs Gill Andrew
52A Preston Down Road
I have owned and shown whippets for over 30 years and am currently campaigning dogs who carry the very best of the famous "Oakbark" bloodlines.
I don't get to as many shows as I would like, as my horses take up a huge amount of time but I do try to get to a few championship shows each year and am thrilled with the successes my dogs have achieved.
I was a founder member and the first secretary of the South West Whippet Club and am proud of the way the Club has gone from strength to strength.
I judge the breed at open show level.

To date, Hubble (Chibuku Political Agenda at Sharmus) has been extremely successful in the show ring, having won many championship first prizes, as well as winning Hound Groups at open show level. He has also won two Reserve Challenge Certificate one at the Three Counties show in 2009 under breed specialist Lucinda Aldrich-Blake, the latest at Manchester Championship Show in January 2012 under another breed specialist, Mrs. Alayna Allen.
In September 2010 Hubble won BEST IN SHOW at the South West Whippet Club open show under breed specialist judge, Mrs. M Hall who said in her critique "superb classic fawn.... everything just about perfect, gorgeous head & expressions, super shoulder placement, leading to flowing outline, outmoved the other exhibits in this class"
Hubs has also won Reserve Best Dog at the South West Whippet Club's show in September 2012 under breed specialist judge, Mr Russell Sykes. Now a veteran, Hubs is continuing to do well in the ring, being best veteran dog at the Whippet Club of Scotland and best veteran in breed at Border Union championship show in 2014
I am extremely proud that Hubs is the sire of two UK champions, Ch Railfield Rainflower who is from his first ever litter and now Ch Citycroft Star Gazing over Yialousa who is from his third litter

Scribble has turned out to be a very successful show dog indeed, winning his class in style at Crufts in 2012, as well as winning at several more championship shows.
Bred by Jo Keenan and Rachel Smith, Scribble has a very happy-go-lucky outlook to life and is a pleasure to live with.
One of his puppies, Bryarose Theseus at Dewerstone started his show career in July 2014 in great style by winning best hound puppy at Stithians Agricultural show.
