LANTIVET

I have lived with dogs all my life and grew up with Newfoundland’s which my parents bred and showed. We took home our first Gordon male ‘Wesley’ 10 years ago and decided that to learn more about the breed we would give showing a go. Fortunately, we have been very successful, and Wesley gained his Junior Warrant and later became a Show Champion. To date, he has won 5 Challenge Certificates (CC's), 3 with Best of Breed (BOB), and 6 Reserve Challenge Certificate (RCC's). We show under the Lantivet Affix.

Rohan joined our household 8 years ago and he also has acquitted himself very well within the show ring, gaining to date 3 CC's, 1 BOB and 1 RCC. Both boys have won life qualification at Crufts.

Our dogs are very much family members firstly and show dogs second. They live together in our house with us and spend most of the day with me doing whatever I am doing.

We believe in socialising our dogs and both boys have attended obedience classes, Wesley having gained his Gold Good Citizen Award and Rohan his Silver. We have also taken them to Agility which they both love.

We are fortunate to live in a lovely part of the country were we have the space to free run the boys which is truly a wonderful sight to see. Both our boys have good hip scores 3:4=7 and 5:3=8.

Our new addition in May 2009 to our household has been 'Lottie' Liric Forever Special By Lantivet JW who is Rohan's daughter. She is a very pretty girl and a joy to live with and like her father is aquitting her self well in the show ring and has recently delighted us with gaining her Junior Warrant along with her father Rohan gaining his Show Champion title at the same show. A wonderful day that we will remember for a very long time.
