Lewendelles

Holly is our only Golden Retriever and to date she has had only one litter of 8 puppies. This was incredibly rewarding as a family and with only one season a year we have found it hard to breed from her again despite two more attempts. She was the most attentive mum and has a beautiful temperament. We show her for fun at village shows and regularly wins Best Pedigree and has won a best in show. We are not a showing family and our dog is a member of our family not a working dog. Her puppies were sold to loving families and have remained in touch.
I intend to try to breed from her one last time when she is in season which I am confident will be around New Year 2012. The stud dog will be Magic (Chalksville Major Pursuit at Jandeburn SHCM ) as before who has been shown at Crufts and wins many titles. This will be her last litter if she is succesfully mated as she is now 7 years old although behaves like a 2 year old. Holly is hip checked for life with both scores under 5 and her eyes are tested yearly with no problems.
