Treebeard Bearded Collies

We have owned and shown Beardies for twenty five years and Kim has judged the breed at open and championship level. We started with one Beardie and have owned up to six at any one time all living in as part of the family.

We decided on a Bearded Collie as one had visited me at my office with its owner and made such a good impression, like most people we were taken in by this lovely well mannered happy dog and little did we realise just how much work and how naughty they could really be.

This is Ozzie one of our fun fun Beardies, a very exhuberant and loving boy, he earned his Junior Warrant and was Bearded Collie Club Veteran of the Year, in between he did manage to behave long enough to win a Challenge Certificate.

We are very proud of puppies born here currently in the show ring are Potterdale Self Portrait (Thomas) (litter brother to Treebeard Blonde on Blonde -Blondie) shown here winning a group at a recent open show, both Thomas and Blondie have their Stud Book Number, their younger half brother and sister Potterdale Pyrotecnic (Alfie) and Potterdale Pyromania (Holly) are also in the ring and have both qualified for Crufts.

Blondie had a super litter by Finish Swedish Norwegian and British Champion Diotima Sea Wolf at Ramsgrove. Our own Treebeard Twist of Fate has made it into the showring twice, getting a first and second at Champ shows despite being the naughtiest puppy in the world!
