Harrigoss Gundogs

We are a busy family, with the dogs taking a massive part in our daily lives, we first got into the breed 6 years ago, our first HWV was for falconry, and very soon found that they are such an amazing breed that they are also fabulous family members, the lovely attitude to life the want to please and they soak up the love and affection like a sponge, so there it began we had to have more!!! Then we went in search for a little girl, and we became very proud owners of Dallas, then the HWV bug bit us even more and we imported our second bitch Bryn, and thats where it really took hold. We only breed occasional litters, with the main issue of temperament being at the top of the list, but as we also work the dogs in working tests and field trials, and the odd bit of shooting and beating, working lines and natural ability are also a consideration. All our dogs are hip scored and eye tested as this is very important to us also. The puppies that we breed are brought up in the family home and are also a big part of the hussle and bustle of a busy family home, making them well socialized and grounded by the time they leave for their new homes.
