Breeders of:

  • Border Terrier

I bought my first Border in 2001 and have been completed converted after having Labradors for 15 years. Buddy (Abbeyvilles Willow Willy of Chorbeck) he is now 13 1/2 years old and is still fit as a flea and no signs of ageing or slowing down yet, proving Borders to be a healthy and sturdy breed.

4 years later I bought a bitch that was my foundation bitch Poppy (Phoenix Feather of Chorbeck) and fell up the Dog Show World and was bitten by the bug.

I bred my first litter in 2007 from Buddy and Poppy and achieved my 1st Stud Book Number with my first born Max (Chorbeck Moonlight Shadow). My 2nd litter produced me my bitch Honey (Chorbeck Precious Pearl) who produced me my 1st Reserve Challenge Certificate winner and 2nd Stud Book Number, Charlie (Chorbeck Charlie Chaplin JW).

Also at home is Honey’s Daughter from her 2nd litter Dot (Chorbeck Little Miss Pickle) and her Granddaughter Ella (Jamespaw Cockleshell Bay by Chorbeck) Charlie’s Daughter from his first litter.

I am a Kennel Club Assured Breeder. I only breed to improve on my stock for the show ring, on average once a year and therefore only occasionally have puppies available to suitable homes. I also occasional rehome my adult dogs to very special approved homes only, to allow me to concentrate on my younger up and coming stock.
