Kesyra German Shepherds is a small kennel breeding on average two litters per year. I have owned German Shepherds since 1975 and bred my first litter in 1985. I am a Kennel Club Assured Breeder and also, more importantly, a signatory of the Breed Council 'Breeders Charter' thus ensuring high breeding standards, testing all breeding animals for hip and elbow dysplasia and only breeding from dogs with better than average scores. All our males are tested free from haemophilia A.

From 2011, I have also started DNA testing my dogs for various hereditary defects such as Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) and Multi Drug Resistance (MDR1). More details of this are on my website.

All of my dogs live as part of the family, are walked regularly and not stuck out in a kennel all day. I keep my 'oldies' after they have retired, where they continue to live happy lives here as family pets.
They all have good temperaments and are good with visitors, including children, puppies and other animals.

All puppies are reared indoors and are well socialised, so that when they leave 'home' at 7-8 weeks, they are used to children, other dogs and the general hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The puppies are Kennel Club Registered, Wormed, Insured, Vet-checked and Microchipped.
Each puppy leaves 'home' with a detailed information booklet on all aspects of care and training, photos of all family members, a sales contract and Puppy Food Packs from 'Arden Grange' 'Nutriment' and 'Naturediet'.

All are invited back to our 'puppy party' at around 5-6 months of age.
Life long after sales care and advice is freely given. Owners are encouraged to keep in touch and many have become my closest friends.

It is a requirement of the sales contract that if you are unable to keep your puppy, he or she must be returned to me and cannot be sold or passed on to anyone else without written permission from myself. This applies throughout the dogs' life and it is to ensure that none of my puppies end up in the wrong homes.
