Bisto with last years puppies.

I was first introduced to this breed via a close friend who owned 4. They were all working dogs, but their intelligence, loyalty and sociability made me realize they would make wonderful family pets, especially with children. Every puppy I have raised has found a new home as a domestic pet and over the years have only received praise for this fabulous breed.

Every puppy is raised within a family home, I believe this is essential to producing and all round healthy social dog. Every puppy is vet checked, wormed and vaccinated before joining their new owners. I will also offer advise and help to anyone who needs this, both before the puppy joins them and for however long after.

I am frequently asked about tail docking and removal of dew claws. As the law stands at present, it is illegal, unless the dog is going to be used as 'a worker' to have the tails docked and my local vet will also not remove the dew claws as he believes this causes unnecessary suffering to the pup , with little benefit in the long term.

Both 'Mum' and puppies are raised on a high protein diet , with the puppies on a wheat and dairy free diet. This diet I have found works wonders in avoiding upset puppy tums.

No puppies can leave prior to their 8 week jab and this is subject to any other dog a new owner may have being fully up to date with their inoculations. It is also possible to arrange for a puppy to remain longer, should circumstances dictate.

I have been breeding the 'Working Cocker Spaniel' for over 20 years and can only say it is a true labour of love. My 2 girls Bonnie and her daughter Bisto are devoted Mothers, with Bonnie having Summer pups and Bisto winter pups.

The Working Cocker Spaniel, with their waggy tails, bright eyes and fun loving temperament will give any loving family many years of devotion and happiness. Certainly my "BB's" (Bonnie & Bisto) are wonderful Ladies.www.how2begin.com/pets-animals/how-to-prepare-for-your-new-puppy-2.html

All the pupppies from Bonnie's June litter I'm so happy to say have all now found good loving homes, where I know puppy tails will be constantly wagging - 'Many Thanks to all the new owners'.
