I have owned dogs for over 20 years and could never be without them, that constant companion always at your side, I have owned varying breeds including Neopolitan Mastiff, Rottweiler, GSD and two crossbreeds all of which were wonderful family dogs. I have always focused on obedience having only shown my beloved Rottie Gemma at Open Show level.
My dogs are a massive part of my life, they always have been and always will be.
I fell in love with the Bracco back in 2002, and after a lot of searching was about to make my wonderful purchase in 2003, then I fell pregnant with twins, so the thought of twins and a young dog as well as two others dogs, it was a bit too much to say the least!
So then in the summer of 2007 I restarted my search but after having had another baby in 2006!
I now own Gunsyn Milano of Tyrbechgyn (Rocco) 13/07/07, Trudale Fiore del Petalo of Tyrbechgyn (Isabella) 15/05/08 and Kelbenic Cesare Coppini (Mario) 22/05/09. I have not entered any championship shows for over 12 months now as I dont believe that scene is for me any more I enjoyed my time showing but much prefer enjoying my dogs as loving family pets which is what they are.
They are just perfect dogs to live with, being very energetic when out but lovely and calm in the house, and they both absolutely adore the 3 boys and they think the world of them too.
We live in a wonderful part of the Country in Llandudno, North Wales which is known as the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, with endless hillwalking and beautiful beaches to choose from. We live a two minute walk from the local beach and a five minute walk to open fields and woods. Its a real doggy paradise.
I am very grateful to Chris Wilson and Jackie Bowler who run the ringcraft classes that we attend in Llysfaen on a Wednesday evening, they have taught me a lot. Rocco absolutely adores our Wednesday nights and I think he believes everybody has just come to see him!!! I have to keep my eyes open with Bella as everybody wants to take her home.
I am absolutely smitten with the Bracco and think that I have truly found the breed for our family. A dog of such beauty and intelligence, really, who could resist.
Our house is a very busy household but I would have it no other way, 'life is for the living'.
I have now been granted the kennel name of 'Tyrbechgyn' which is welsh for boys house.
Our first ever time showing at Crufts was absolutely fantastic. It was a great day Rocco getting 4th in PGD and Bella 3rd in Junior and gaining Best Puppy.
New addition to Tyrbechgyn is Rostock Naughty Nellie (Millie) a stunning Rottie.
