I have been involved with dogs all my life first with my mothers basset hounds then with my first breed german shepherds , And then came newfies i wanted a dog that could swim so what better choice , i tried showing and was bitten by the bug, i have also done a little water work with my dogs but it is limited due to work commitments, ALL my dogs are health screened hip scored , elbow scored , heart tested by eco doppler and cystanuria tested
they also live in the house not in kennels , makes housework a bind but well worth it
at the moment i am showing my young boy axel aka windyhaugh golden roller he has been placed at everyshow he has attended
so far (fingers crossed) being 5th in junior at crufts 2008 and also BEST OF BREED at the cheshire show 2008 not bad for 20 months
But most of all they are my friends and constant companions and i wouldnt swap the slobber and mud for anything
