I have had a lifetime of interest in dogs from a baby.As a child my father owned Spaniels,until my first dog a Rough Collie.Mark and I have owned Long Haired German Shepherds together in the past for twenty years, until our first Alaskan Malmute came to join us six years ago.Showing for four years and working for the last four seasons.We currently own four of our own Malamutes and one whom we foster.Astrid (Snowolf Star of Excellence) is the oldest at six yearsand ten months,Chinook (Zeelukzak Magic Moment) and Billy (Zeelukzak Bilbobagins)are four years and eight months, they are litter brothers,they work in harness together,live together and are currently showing together! Dizzy (Sheperdsway Dizzie Lizzie) is just three years and five months old,our newest addition is Misty (Zeelukzak Aurora Mist) is just eight months old.We are members of AMWA,SHCGB,BSHRA,SDAS,AMCUK,ABSA also members of the AMHL of America.We have a permit to train the dogs at Thetford Forest ,which we make the most of ,weather permitting.All our dogs are part of our family and live in the house along with our five cats! For the first time this year Mark, Chinook and Billy took part in the 25th Aviemore Rally taking overall 7th place for D2 Mals.Aviemore is a fantastic opportunity to take part in the Uks biggest Sled Dog Race.We have both also attended many Breed Seminars with the AMCUK, Mark passing his Hands On Breed Assessment.Chinook and Billy have now both got their Stud Book Entry qualifying them for Crufts for life.Please feel free to contact for help or advice on this wonderful but stubborn breed of dogs.
