Youngest grandson, Owen, out with the dogs

Everybody's friend, Poppy loves people and animals alike.

Emily came to us at almost two years of age. Despite having grown up with a child, she was rather nervous of young children. Our time, patience and vigilance have paid off and she is now a lot happier when our grandchildren visit. Definitely the matriarch of our canine family.

My partner and I live on a small working farm in the heart of the West Yorkshire countryside. We have four Labradors, two cats and an assortment of cows, calves and hens.

Between us we have owned Labradors for the past 19 years, although this will be our first venture into breeding.

Our dogs live in the house with us, are very much part of the family and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
