Beamsley

The Beamsley Kennel began in 1978 with our first show dog, Sam (Camrose Xrispin of Beamsley). He was soon followed by our beautiful blonde Anna, a Faunus daughter, later to become Ch. Telmah Anabel of Beamsley. She became the foundation of our Kennel line passing on her sound construction and superb temperament to her children. Sadly, today we have only one Anna great granddaughter left, Shannon (Beamsley Bright Star) who is now 14.

However, our Kennel continues with Ally (Gartraith Dream Maker of Beamsley) and her daughter Tasha (Beamsley Back to the Future) who go back to the Faunus lines where we started nearly 30 years ago with Anna.
Our dogs are first and foremost members of our family and stay with us for life regardless of how successful they are in the showring . They bring us immense joy and although we breed very little, (usually only when we ourselves are ready for another puppy), we have made some wonderful friends over the years through the sale of our puppies.

Our present show girl Tasha who is a typical , gentle and loving 'Golden' was mated in March 2008. She had one big dog puppy. We have named him Sonny and he is developing into a beautiful boy who is full of fun, very easy-going and quick to learn.

Last year we enjoyed showing Tasha who has been very successful winning a CC and a Reserve CC. We hope to have a litter from her in spring/summer 2010.

We aim to breed healthy and beautiful Golden Retrievers who fit the Breed Standard and have the excellent temperaments the breed is renowned for. All our Goldens are eye-tested and hip-scored under the BVA schemes.
We are Kennel Club Accredited Breeders.
