Jactoria Lady Nightshade (Poppy)

Poppy was bred superbly in April 2004, by Vicky Jackson of Jactoria Bassets, from her Lady Tara Jakeson and sired by a wonderful Champion Dereheath Dalglish of Dereheath Bassets ('Kenny'), who was Top Sire in 2004.

Kenny, now a veteran, is an outgoing, good natured hound. He is the father of Ch. Dereheath Keaton and brother of Ch. Dereheath Keegan of Gettistown. His daughter, Ch. Dereheath Catherine was Top Puppy in Breed in 2004.

Poppy has matured into a lovely bitch with a fine head, good bone and an excellent temperament.

Poppy has been bred with Bear Right at Barrenger
(aka 'Morgan' ) of Barrenger Bassets . Morgan has a suberb stud record and many of his offspring are Champions in their own right.
