Out for a stroll
Out for a stroll

Holcombe Hill. We get to horse ride and walk the dogs on the hill and M.O.D. land. Always a laugh when we come accross the army on manoeuvres....the dogs think the guns are sticks and have been known before now to bite the fore piece of a rifle and play tug of war with a somewhat un impressed soldier. Yes, the dogs like those strange, moving bushes that shout at them if they wee up them.

Oh, I don't know if I can take any more!
Just a little while longer, son....Just try to relax for a little while longer. You can do it.

Sir Digby...looking for clues
Sir Digby...looking for clues

Sir Digby, named after Sir Digby Chicken Sezar. What? you may say. Yes, Sir Digby is a delusional tramp (from the Mitchel and Webb look) who thinks he is an aristocratic super sleuth. Always looking for clues, such as cigaretts and watches.....which hadn't in fact been stolen, untill he collected them as clues and legged it off!!.........We often find Digger legging it off with 'clues' in his mouth.

We fell in love with the breed in 2000 when we purchased our dark brindle bitch Lou. Four years later we bred our 1st litter and kept a lovely bitch called Noe.

in 2007 we puchased a nice Ch. Lust in the Dust daughter to show. We show Maggie and or Noe at least once per month at open or championship level with some good results.

Noe had a lovely litter in 2008 sired by Ch. Koppernox Mickey Finn. and we decided we could squeeze a nice boy into our house, so Heybotts Sir Digby is now learning the ropes and will enter his first champ show at the City of Birmingham Championship show in August.
If you see us there, come over and say hello.

Our dogs love life and keep fit out on walks and hikes as well as running free in the fields with the horses. When we come home we all flop on the sofas and watch TV. together.
When breeding our aim is to help improve the breed. We spend many months deciding who to use. Looks are one thing, but temperament is so important. And of course, both parents contribute to these qualities.
