Hetty, whilst showing all the characteristics of the true Bullmastiff, is outstanding for her exceptionally even temperament and friendly disposition, harnessed with an unbridled sense of fun.
Attributes she displays unremittingly at every opportunity, when meeting canines or humans for the first time.

Our pride in her close proximity to the breed standard, is only surpassed by the qualities she is now lovingly and loyally exhibiting whilst rearing her first litter of nine babies, which coincidentally is also the first litter from the exceptional Sire
CH CASAMEYER DARK SAXON OF COPPERFIELD JW (Sol) A dog who quite remarkably, achieved his CHAMPION status by the age of only thirteen months, and has gone on, though still under two years of age, to have further success in the show ring, under both all round and breed judges, that would do credit to any dog having had a show career spanning many years.
It is therefore probably unsurprising that he ended 2007 as
TOP BULLMASTIFF PUPPY.
All in all, this makes this litter a very exciting prospect for everyone concerned.

Having acquired our first Bullmastiff in 1998 we are committed to the responsible breeding of a small number of quality dogs, sound in health, temperament and of good type, which are able to adapt and successfully integrate, into a pet or show environment.

When Judge Mrs J.Townsend awarded him Best Dog & Best of Breed at the Working & Pastoral Breed Assoc. of Wales 2000, her notes read, " a powerful dog that entered and immediately owned the ring, a young lad obviously looking for mischief" we do not think we can add to that.

Vikki Singleton of The Copperfield Kennel kindly referred to him as
"a legend" we would not argue with that either, and in tribute to him and her, have carried that into the naming of our latest dog.

We always said of Jolson, that we could shut him out of the kitchen, but never out of our hearts, we will be eternally grateful to our big boy, for being for us, the gateway into this wonderful world of Bullmastiffs.
Born a dog, died a gentleman.

Sol is the sire of our latest litter, and we think you will agree that it may be unusual, but quite understandable, that he was a Champion at the age of thirteen months and Top Bullmastiff Puppy for 2007.
