I got my first Cocker Spaniel in 1988. A little blue roan bitch named Tilly.We decided to mate her at 3 years old and an orange and white bitch called Meggie was chosen to join our household.

Meggie was the first dog that I ventured into showing with and as we only had the 2 dogs, Tilly was also taken along. Meggie hated being shown, however, Tilly, took to it really well and we continued to show her well into Veteran classes.

Several generations on, I'm still showing and I'm also on a number of dog show committees.

I started judging in Cockers in 2000 and now judge a number of breeds in the Gundog Group.

We have also added English Toy Terriers to the household in 2005.
