By any standards MONTRAVIA is one of Britain's all time most successful kennels. It was founded in the late 50's by Squadron Leader Peter and Pauline Gibbs who made up a number of Poodle champions during the 60's and 70's.
Daughter Marita showed precocious talent as a handler and with her at the helm of a true family effort, spectacular success was subsequently achieved in Poodles, Afghans and Bichons, including numerous Best in Show awards, among them two at Crufts. So far Marita has won some 470 CC's with over 55 different dogs
