Drysika

Welcome to Drysika GSP's. We are Allan and Catherine Drysdale and both work as Guide Dog Instructors so our hobby of working and showing our dogs is somewhat of a "busman's holiday"!
Allan is currently on the committee of the GSP Club North West Group and is involved in many of the training days and events that they offer.
Catherine is currently on the 'B' list for judging GSP's

After over 20 years in the breed we have just embarked on our first litter, by the renowned Sh Ch Barleyarch Paris out of our lovely Jennaline Hatsie Pollings at Drysika JW and 10 healthy puppies were the result.
Hattie has won 5 Reserve CCs, achieved her Junior Warrant, was runner up Top GSP puppy in 2004 and quallified for The Pup of the Year competition in the same year.
She is also a competant working dog and has won 2 working tests as well as being graded on Grouse and Pheasant. Hopefully after her maternal duties, she will be trialled later this season.

Kenco is our 2yr old dog and is an absolute delight to live with as he has a fabulous temperament and outgoing personality. His forte is his ability to hunt, locate and point game and he is in his element when out on the grouse moors, where his stamina and wide ranging ability come to the forefront. He has had 4 gradings on game as a Junior, 1 Excellent and 3 Very Goods.
Recently he entered his first Novice Test at the North West Group GSP Club and won it! It was a lovely day but the downside is that now he is up with the "big guns" in Open so it will be back to a lot more training before he can enter any more!

Tika is our lovely Full Champion, she has been a wonderful working dog and an ever willing show dog. She has 4 CC's and 3 Reserve CC's and the icing on the cake was when she got the CC at Crufts in 2002. She also got 4 Field Trial awards, thus culminating in her Full title.
She is now well into retirement but still enjoys her daily walks and at 13 and a half years old keeps Kenco well in his place!
