I bought my first Miniature Schnauzer, Tia, five years ago (Toosum Blackberry Way). Tia is a black bitch with the most fabulous harsh wiry, jet black coat out. She gets this from her father's side, who's from the Havenstad kennels in Belgium.
I now own all three colours of Miniature Schnauzers, black, black and silver and pepper and salt, all of which have fabulous lines in their breeding.
It's all happened for me in 2007, after some persuasion, I started showing Theo (Arbeybuffels Motevates at Hafsiriol) in July and he has been placed every time at Championship shows. I've not looked back since.
All my dogs live in the house, and are eye tested annually. Puppies are sometimes available to loving, caring homes. I breed primarily for puppies to show, and are bred to breed standard, from a very selective breeding programme, and most of all have fabulous temperaments. Not everyone that come to see the puppies will be successful, as I have to ensure that puppies go to the right homes. Puppies are eye tested at 6 weeks under the BVA/KC/ISDS eye scheme, and go with a comprehensive puppy pack and will be insured. They can also be microchipped. All puppies will be endorsed "Progeny not eligible for registration" and "Not eligible for the issue of an export pedigree". |
