We are a small show kennel situated in the heart of Fife. The Shimitoki affix was granted in 2006 after having success in the ring with our first show boxer (Nala).

All our dogs are house dogs and loved to bits. They are pets first and foremost and show dogs second. We show as we and most importantly, our dogs enjoy it.

Our non-show boxers get into the limelight by attending obedience classes and have done well attaining their Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards.

Our aim is to have happy, balanced dogs and to breed puppies who are bred for temperament, health and type. We only breed from dogs who are heart tested clear, free from cardiomyopathy lines and have good temperaments.

Boxers have been in family for over fifty years. I could not imagine being without my trusted friends. We have a thorough understanding of boxers but are always keen to learn from others in the breed. If you have any queries or wish to contact us for a chat please do not hesitate to do so.

After thinking long and hard about adding a second breed to our kennel we decided to research the Pharaoh Hound. With similar temperaments & antics to Boxers we took the plunge and contacted a few breeders. We were fortunate to meet Claire, Sheila and Danny at Birkhall Hounds who had fabulous boys in need of loving show homes. We fell in love with Pablo and brought him home a few weeks later he was soon followed by his brother Philip.
I am sure that showing hounds will bring its challenges as us boxer people do have some bad habits while exhibiting!!!
