Harry (snowstar barrier breaker)
This is my first Golden retriever Harry. It all started after being asked to look after a work colleague's Goldie for weeks at a time and found it sad when i had to give him back to his owner so i was hooked on the breed & had to have one !!
I bought my first Goldie, Harry (snow star barrier breaker) November 1993. He turned out to be one of those dogs in a million, The softest temperament ever with the most Handsome looks (like they should be)
The local vet asked if I was interested in using Harry as a stud dog as he had a customer looking for Dog to sire some puppies and thought Harry was an outstanding dog.
After having his hips and eyes tested (hips total score of 3) I started to us him as a stud dog, He then went on to sire some outstanding lovely pups.
Sadly we lost Harry but he had a good long life, and miss him dearly, But it always puts a smile on my face if I see his name on a pedigree.

I have owned owned Golden retrievers for over 20 years & can not imagine life without them, Myself, Husband & three sons & off course our 5 beautiful goldies live on a working farm in the Devon countryside, we are very proud of the fact that our golden retrievers have very low hip scores .And have passed all the health checks needed with flying colours .The temperament has to be excellent with three children in the household but now growing up,
