Riversflight Neath of Beanit JW photo by: Hayley Tomlinson | Sire: Ch Tom Thumb, Dam: Ch Riversflight Inny. Bred by Peter and Jean Griffiths Keeper was lightly shown after gaining his Junior Warrant in less than six months. He had a wonderful personality and lived life to the full - he did not really like showing but produced quality stock. A few of his progeny are: Sh Ch Here Comes The Rain, Rainy Days and Sundays, Ch Steeplehouse Gamekeeper, Wheelers Black Rain (Norway) and Ch Steeplehouse Crackerjack (Holland). Beanit State Secret (Norway) won numerous field trials in Norway and was a successful tracking dog.
Some of Keepers grand and great grand children include our current dogs Rainesgift Serendipity at Beanit (sister to Rainesgift Seymour), Rainesgift Classic Affair at Beanit JW, Rainesgift Bree Vandekamp at Beanit and Beanit Molly Malone also Beanit Ned Kelly to Keepersway and Beanit Monneypenny of Ronevorg. Beanit Ned Kelly to Keepersway gained his Show Gundog Working Certificate on 3rd January 2009 - well done to Rob & Lorraine who own him. |
Rainesgift Classic Affair at Beanit JW photo by: Hayley Tomlinson | Sire: Rainesgift Seymour, Dam: Hempth's Linnet for Rainesgift. Bred by Hayley Tomlinson
Darcy and his sister Bree joined us in 2006 and have been a joy and pleasure to own - even when he steals things of the kitchen worktops and his new trick of jumping on and off the dining room and patio tables! Both Darcy and Bree have been very successful in the show ring so far.
We have listed Darcy's show results below.

We have owned Flatcoats since 1980 when we acquired our first working bitch. At first we did lots of obedience/agility and then a friend introduced us to the world of dog shows which established our joint hobby. We applied for our affix “Beanit” in 1987 and we had our first flatcoat litter in 1990. All our dogs are part of the family and live in the house with us, all puppies are reared indoors in a family environment.
All our dogs are hip and eye scored. Puppies occasionally available.
