Dawnglo

A small hobby kennel established in 1975, initially showing and breeding Irish Setters registering the affix 'Dawnglo' in 1978.

I occasionally breed a litter of Irish to continue my line. My stock is hip scored, genetically clear of PRA (RCD-1) and CLAD.

My highest award in the show ring has been a Res CC with Amberwave Prima Donna at Dawnglo, although over the years we have managed to have 2 wins (Dawnglo Celesta and Dawnglo Heatwave) and several placings at Crufts.

I have had a life long interest in Cocker Spaniels being the breed I grew up with. My first litter from my show winnng bitch was born in 2007. Dottie (Dawnglo Silver Star) has qualified for Crufts 2009.

My interest in dogs reaches beyond exhibiting. I was Secretary of a National Irish Setter Breed club for 4 years and also served on the committee of a Regional Breed Club for a similar period in the late 1980's. I have also judged Irish Setters on numerous occasions.

All my puppies are house reared and KC registered.
