The Finchingford Gun Dog Kennel was established in 1998 and is owned by David Harris. I am a Kennel Club Accredited Breeder and also a member of the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors Scheme. We are based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. As a child I grew up with Irish Setters. In 1998 I got my first Golden Retriever. I have loved the breed ever since!

I have developed a real interest in Showing my Golden Retrievers. I am now training to work them in the field. The Cocker's came mainly due to their size, and therefore my young sons' ability to more reliably work and handle them.

My Golden Retriever lines are firmly based on the most biddable and intelligent of Golden Retrievers who also possess a kind, friendly and confident nature. My Cocker lines are based on the breeding of their carefully selected working parents.

Both my Golden's and Cocker's seem to be following in the footsteps of their parents. So on both counts, its looking good!
