Welcome to Pearl Cottage, the home of the Ambergold Golden Retrievers. We live in a sleepy Hampshire village surrounded by lovely walks across fields and woodland where our dogs run daily

The above dogs which form our present day line range from 1 to 14 yrs. When my husband retired I decided to retire from showing, although just very occasionally I may attend a local championship show.
Our show career has had many highlights over the years which includes 2 CC winners, 6 Res. CC winners, J.W. winners and numerous stud book numbers. All the above dogs have won 1sts at Championship show level and we have also had 1st at Crufts

My greatest love has always been the working side which I have done now for some 26 yrs. All the dogs I have ever owned with one exception have worked in spite of them all being show bred. I always choose a sire that works for my bitches. We now work four regular shoots and I will continue with my show lines as I always feel proud when the guns comment that they are also very beautiful looking dogs. They also work very efficiently and enthusiastically.

Temperament will always be our main priority
All our dogs are fed on Arden Grange which we consider to be as near natural feeding as is possible on a dried food.

This lovely boy is the love of my life. He had a great show career and has a great deal of skill in the field. He has proved to be a good sire stamping his type and temperament and has successful offspring in the ring. We have just welcomed his latest daughter Catcombe Cameo into our midst. Will's progeny has an average hip score of 10.7. He has proved to be one of the best hip producers in the breed.

Wills has a half-brother, Ambergold Aleksei, by Ch Chinnordale Kirribillie.

Elite is the son of our Bees Knees. Both are intelligent and delightful companions to live with as well as being hard little workers.
