'Bear' at 15 months taken at the British Gordon Setter Club Championship Show after winning Junior Dog and Best Junior overall. Bear is by my Lourdace Maddison At Aldabrook ex Aldabrook Wreakin' Havoc.

Bear had a really super start to his show career - 2nd in Puppy at WELKS under Jane Osborn and 1st Puppy Dog and Best Dog Puppy at Birmingham National under Margo Cowe. He has consistantly been places and has had some super wins through 2007.

I am having lots of fun with Bear after rebuilding his confidence following an incident at a show. He is certainly full of fun to live with!!!! Like all Aldabrooks, he goes everywhere at 100mph and is full of 'character'!

Litter brother Aldabrook High Hopes at Tsruhnova is also being campaigned by Gina Melville, Callum has also been placed throughout the year. Callum lives with another Aldabrook boy 'Fraser', A Fraternal Fella at Tsruhnova.

This is 'Havoc' - a very aptly named clown who really doesn't enjoy the show ring (as you can see from the picture!) although she did account well for herself as a puppy and was 2nd in Sp Puppy at Crufts.

Havoc is by Lourdace Maddison at Aldabrook ex Aldabrook Ice Fairy.

Litter sister Aldabrook Spring Starlight (Yola) has been campaigned lightly by her owner Adele Bealey and has produced a litter to Lourdace Bootlegger. Litter brother A Spring Twilight dips his paws into the ring and accounts well for himself and has now started having lots of fun doing agility!

As Havoc doesn't enjoy showing, she keeps Maddi company on the sofa on show days!

'Fae' is our sensible lady at home and pictured here 5 weeks after having puppies. A better Mum is not possible, she loves her puppies and teaches them well!

Puppies out of Fae are hoped for in spring 2008

Fae is by Icelandic Champion Lourdace The Gallilean ex Aldabrook Final Flicka who sadly died at just 3 years after eating clothing - a fettish she had from being a puppy. Flicka left me with her only offspring aged just 6 weeks, Fae is her legacy!

I am very proud of Fae's youngsters that are being campaigned - Aldabrook Spring Twilight at Rackens (Maxy) and Aldabrook Man On The Moon at Rackens Angus). Both these boys have done us proud and continue to delight us with their sensational movement! These beautiful boys are both owned by Rach & Ken Horler. Aldabrook Spring Starlight (Yola) is also mentioned under Havoc's photo.

Look out for Aldabrook Morning Glory at Rackens who has had a super start to his show career and is also doing extremely well in the Junior Handling with his co-handler Jess Horler! Aldabrook Mimosa who is now well settled in Italy and soon makes her show debut in Europe.

This is my 'Maddi' after the indignity of being bathed for the GSA Vintage Class as he is now pushing 11 years! My daughter is his very best buddy and she gets very annoyed when he persists in rounding her up when she wants to play with the other dogs!

Maddi also accounted well for himself at shows being well known for his stunning movement! Although he was only campaigned very lightly due to family commitments, at his last outing he won 1st Veteran Dog at Setter & Pointer Ch Show.

With a hip score total of 10 and fabulous temperament, he is available to approved Gordon ladies - he is ALWAYS a gentleman! His offspring exhibit many of his qualities!

We had our first Gordon in 1983 as a pal for our last Irish Setter. Bitten by the show bug with our Irish lad, we added a Gordon puppy to our family in 1984 and he was later to become Sh Ch Elmdeyne Black Rider.

'Barnaby' was my pride and joy, accounting extremely well for himself in the ring and my own first 'proper' show dog, he is behind all the Aldabrooks along with my lovely 'Midge' Lourdace Dragnet - the most delightful bitch anyone could live with!

All my dogs live as family, they have taught the children to walk - now 22, 17 and our little surprise Sydney is just 4 and a doting Aunty to baby Karlo born in August 2007

I am extremely proud of my reputation for breeding healthy, stylish, sound moving Gordon's with a happy dispostion that are capable of being family companions, show dogs or working dogs!
