We are situated near the MALVERN HILLS about a mile outside Upton-Upon-Severn so our FERNWYCHE dogs can enjoy the beautiful countryside and walks. The River Severn is just a short walk away so they are lucky they can swim regually in the river

Fernwyche Spirit of The Moon MAYA is our youngest from Mistys last litter. Full of life and keeps the older dogs on their toes. She has done well in the ring and has qualified for Crufts.

Fernwyche Paper Chase OXO joined us in 2010 keeping Dingle company when the girls are in season. POPPY our first Golden Retriever did not take to the show ring it was not for her, she would rather be at home. She is food orientated and from day one was given to stealing a loaf of bread, later she progressed to a whole Brie and another time a whole Chocolate cake that my daughter had bought for her boyfriend. She has not changed and will do anything for food.

We have had two litters from POPPY, she has proved to be a very good Mother. We kept a dog , DINGLE, from the first litter, we had always intended to keep a bitch but there was just something special about him. He is the most laid back dog and just loves people, like most Goldies. He then was joined by his younger sister Misty, the pair of them are joined at the hip, they are inseparable.

In May 2010 Misty surprised us and produced 12 beautifull puppies, six of each. They have now gone to their new families with the exception of OXO who we decided to keep.

Our five dogs all have very different personalities but they all have wonderful temperaments. Their coats range through gold, honey to biscuit. POPPY loves her walks but likes her peace and quiet and will find a sanctuary away from her very energetic and enthusiastic offspring, but still enjoys digging for rabbits. DINGLE and MISTY will play all day, rolling in mud and love to swim in the brooks and local ponds on the Common. Misty is the true swimmer and once she gets a scent of water she will race off to it followed closely by DINGLE

We finally moved into our house here in Upton in March 2009 and the dogs soon settled down to their new home. They have discovered lot of wild life in the garden and they can be seen chasing down the garden after rabbits or rolling in badger poo from the visiting badger. The pheasants soon found a new home!

OXO Joined us in 2010 one of Misty's 12 puppies. He has charm and takes after his Grandmother Poppy stealing and chewing anything that he comes across. My garden suffered from his arrival he took a shine to the tulips and iris then moving indoors to my radiator controls, We all love him and he can be found cuddled up to one of the other dogs,

Misty is a Digby daughter and younger sister to Dingle.
She is sat here with her oldest son Oxo.

We were over the moon when she was placed FIRST in POSTGRADUATE at LKA 2009. It was a wonderfull end to 2009 after the turmoils of the year.
The week before I had not been able to get her to move at the GRC and had been in two minds about showing her, thankfully we took her and Anne Falconer gave her 1ST in POSTGRADUATE. This qualified her for CRUFTS 2010.
