SHIZARU AKITAS

We are a small Lancashire/Manchester based kennel with a long history of owning and breeding dogs.

At present we are the proud owners of a
Male Akita (HARRY), 3 Female Akita's (TRINITY, ELIZABETH & SCARLET) and a Female Chow Chow (NALA)..

We have waited 10 years to be in a position to show our dogs at a high level and we are overwhelmed at the level of success we have achieved with Harry, Trinity & Elizabeth in such a short time.
As a result we have been truly bitten by the bug.

HARRY

Harry has been shown at Championship & Open show level for almost 2 years with excellent results.

Harry has won Best Puppy in Show at the Akita Association Championship Show in October 2006, He was was placed 3rd in his class at CRUFTS 2007 & 2008 and has already qualified for CRUFTS 2009.

His Sire is the UK Akita C.C. record holder and first british bred champion to take both UK & US titles.

TRINITY

Trinity is shown at both Championship and Open show level.
She has started her career with fantastic results and we are very proud that she has already qualified for CRUFTS 2009.
She is campaigned along side of her half brother Harry, Half sister Scarlet and Harry's daughter Elizabeth.

ELIZABETH

Elizabeth is now just 15 months old.
She is the daughter of our very own
Harry - (Kumatomo Look and Learn at Shizaru)
& Lilly from Dolcevita.

Elizabeth is proving to be a very special girl with a big personality, since we brought home this happy little bundle of fun has settled in beautifully.

We thank Kim, Sandra & Tony at Dolcevita Akitas for thinking so highly of Harry to use him at stud which gave us the opportunity to take Elizabeth as our pick of litter.


Elizabeth started her show career with a bang under Judge Mrs Jenny Killilea ( Redwitch ) at Driffield Championship Show 2008, she qualified for Crufts 2009 being placed 1st in Minor Puppy Bitch.
She then went on to recieve the Bitch Res CC in June at Border Union Champshow 2009.
