I have been "owned" by Labradors for most of my life, dare I admit it, for over 40 yrs!! and still learning!! I owe so much to so many people, and thank them for their invaluable advice & continued support, they all know who they are.
My son Andrew and I run a small hobby/show kennel which has slowly grown and so far has had some very good wins, at championship level, qualifying our wonderful dogs for Crufts each year. All of our dogs are very much loved family members, all with their own unique quirky characters. Our stud dog Tyson has to date been awarded two Reserve Challenge Certificates, also gaining his stud book number and is Crufts qualified for life. Ruby one of our special show girls, has now gained her Kennel club stud book number, which qualifies her for Crufts for life.
We are dedicated to breeding fit healthy dual purpose, fit for function Labradors and adhere to all aspects of hip scoring, elbow grading, eye testing, as well as Optigen Testing for PRA to ensure that we keep our dogs in the very best of health. Essential for the breeding and well being of this exceptionally loving, and totally faithful breed.
I currently serve on the committee of the Three Ridings Labrador Retriever Club. Both my son and I are also on the committee of our local all breeds Canine Society.
I judge Labradors at Open show level, and I am on the C list with the Labrador Breed council. |
