I have owned golden retrievers for nearly 10 years, having lived as a child with working farm dogs.
We now live on the rugged north coast of Cornwall and our dogs are fortunate to have access to cliffs and beaches where they especially enjoy the water. Although two of our bitches Emily and Carn are shown extensively, our goldens are first and foremost family pets, living with us in the house and extensive gardens. Our main priority is to breed golden retrievers with exceptional temperaments; sociable with adults, loving and friendly toward children. When choosing a sire this quality is as important as maintaining low hip scores and clear eyes.
