Montalba GSP

Three generations of the same family. Inchmarlo Kirtle, Montalba Elfstone and Montalba Jennyanydots

I have had Gsps since 1987, my first dog was Inchmarlo Montecalvo, from Ian Sladdens famous kennel. Dex was granted a stud book number, and was a much loved family pet. When I lost him at the early age of 10, I was lucky enough to have another GSP fron Ian, but this time a bitch, Inchmarlo Kirtle, from one of the last litters bearing this famous affix. Purdey had two litters of puppies, totalling six dogs in all, of which I have kept two, the eldest Montalba Jennyanydots is now 5 years old, and the youngest Montalba Elfstone is now 3 years old. My daughter Elanor began to handle Purdey in classes at all show levels from the age of six, and has gone on to handle all our dogs to great successs in the show ring, qualifying this year for the YKC junior handling finals at Crufts. I love all my dogs dearly, and would not consider another breed.
