Ch.Huntinghill Jazzalicious J.W 10 CC's 7 RCC's photo by: Pauline Oliver | Ch. Huntinghill Jazzalicious - Chelsea - born 11/01/07 by Oakbark Moment Of Impact At Willingwisp ex Oakbark Mistique At Tormor. Her puppy career was finished in true style by taking Best Puppy In Breed at Crufts 2008 under breed specialist Editha Newton (Nevedith). She then won her J.W & at Windsor Championship Show she was awarded the BCC and BOB under breed specialist Patsy Gilmour and 4th in a strong Hound Group under Paul Singleton. Chelsea won her 2nd CC & BIS at East Anglian Whippet Club Championship Show under breed specialist Mrs Jessie McLeod. Her third & crowning CC, with BOB, was won at Midland Counties Ch. show under Jean Griffiths, yet another breed specialist. She has also won 3 R.C.C's under Nev Newton, Julie Meakin & G. Flyck Pederson, again breed specialists. LKA saw her awarded her 4th CC & BOB, under breed specialist Roger Stock, and Hound Group 2. 2009 has started with the RCC at Crufts, Judge P. Marston-Pollock and then BIS at The Whippet Stars under C. Ledger, K. Thomas & Frank Kane, plus more group placings & a group 1 at SWKA 2009. We have been so lucky to own, and breed, such a lovely Whippet who has gone on, as at October 2009, to take 10 CC's, 9 with BOB, and 7 RCC's under such well respected Breed Specialists. See her kennel page for more details . |
Ch Huntinghill The Jazz Man J.W 3 C.C's, 2 RCC photo by: dewerstone photography | Huntinghill The Jazz Man - Joe - born 11/01/07 by Oakbark Moment Of Impact At Willingwisp ex Oakbark Mistique At Tormor. A correct size dog with the most delightful temperament, a real joy to own & show. Joe finished his good puppy career by winning 3rd in Spec.P.D at Crufts 2008 under breed specialist Morag Bolton-Lockhart. He then went on to enjoy a very successful time in Junior and has gainned his JW. Windsor Championship Show was really a day to remember as he was awarded the DCC under breed specialist Patsy Gilmour only being beaten for BOB by his sister Chelsea.....a dream of a day for us at Huntinghill with these two exciting littermates. Joe is always a joy to show, a real gentleman & a pleasure to own & we look forward to campaigning him further in 2009. Both have been carefully bred to ensure not only good show qualities but for health and superb temperaments. **2009 - Joe takes 1st in Mid Limit Dog at Crufts under K. Thornton. A fantastic start to 2009 for this lovely dog. His second DCC followed at Bath Champ Show 2009 under D. Kenis-Pordham. Joes crowning DCC came at Midland Whippet Club 2009 under Carol Neale, he was only beaten for BOB by Chelsea! We are so very proud of these lovely littermates and they have given us so much enjoyment in and out of the show ring.

Ch. Fullerton Just Xsara For Huntinghill photo by: A.S | Ch. Fullerton Just Xsasa For Huntinghill - Xsara- born 06/11/97 is by Ch. Nevedith Rare Rogue ex Nevedith Major Medley At Fullerton. Xsara is now happily retired after gainning her crown for Huntinghill Whippets. A lovely elegant bitch to show and own she carries some beautiful lines and allowed us to own a 'Rogue' daughter, a dog long admired by us. A great shame that we were unable to breed from this beautiful bitch. She is really enjoying her retirement now but both she and Wizard might make the occassional appearance in the ring contesting the Veterans classes. We are very sad to report that we had to have Xsara put to sleep in October (2009) to save further suffering and feel her loss greatly here at Huntinghill. Run free beautiful girl, we will always remember you. x |
Juneric Poetic Justice For Huntinghill R.C.C. photo by: dewerstone photography | Juneric Poetic Justice For Huntinghill - Wizard - born 20/06/96 is by Ch. Millwold Gold Dust To Exhurst ex Walkabout Wedded Bliss. This lad is very special to us. He came to Huntinghill following the kindness of Mrs June Minns who bred him after we had lost a very much loved young male. Out of the renowned Gold Dust from a favourite bitch of ours owned by June, he has always been the most delightful gentleman to live with. He has a lovely sense of fun even now and has never grown up. His days in the show ring were never without humour as he could be a fun loving idiot to show but he did us proud. These days he prefers to relax at home especially when the television is on and Jazmin is visiting. However he might just decide to make the odd appearance in Veteran classes as he did recently at the WCW Champ show taking 2nd in the class & 2nd in J.H, handled both times by his best mate Jazmin, who is now the third generation at Huntinghill entering the show ring. And Wiz proved that he could still move out like a youngster on side profile, bless him. |
Huntinghill Whippets - A small kennel aiming for health, soundness, construction & good temperament. Pets first, Showdogs second! We do not breed very many litters and carefully consider our lines before embarking on a mating. It is very important to us to breed with the above aims in mind & only if we want to keep a puppy ourselves. Potential puppy owners will be asked many questions from us & we expect many questions back. Any puppies sold will be supplied with full documentation ie KC, feeding charts, pedigree & general information and an agreement between both parties that should an unfortunate situation arise the puppy is returned to us. |
