Gracie has competed very successfully, winning her Minor Bitch Puppy breed class and the Puppy Bitch Stakes class at her 1st championship show at 6 1/2 months. By 8 1/2 months she had won 5 BP in breed, 2 BOB (getting group placings on each occassion) and RBPIS.

At 11 months she won her heat of the Pro Plan / Dog World Pup of the Year competition at Southern Counties qualifiying her for the final in January 2008. This was only her 2nd attempt in this competition having won her bitch class at Manchester aged 6 months.

Gracie was awarded her Bronze Good Citizen award aged 10 months.

At Welsh KC Championship Show Gracie was the Winner on the day of the Pet Plan Junior Stakes and Runner Up over all to the Weimeraner who was the Reserve in the Finals.

We sadly lost Gracie in October 2009.

Maya is our first basenji and has been a wonderful addition to the family. A wonderful pet first and foremost she has a lovely temperment and is inseperable from Delilah the pug! Bred by Trish Hallam, Dee Hardy, Sue Kite and Jeff Gillespie, she is from the very well known Millie who is the Breed CC Record Holder and has had numerous group placings at Championship Shows as well as Best in Shows at Championship Level. We are very grateful to Trish & Dee for allowing us to have this beautiful girl!

Maya's show career has had a fantastic start. She has been awarded 3 Best Puppy in Show's at all breed open shows, as well as a Reserve Best Puppy in Show. She has many first places at Championship Shows and to top her puppy career off she qualified for the Pet Plan Junior Stakes Finals at just 8 months of age! Then, as the youngest in the competition, she went on to be awarded Fourth place overall in the finals at just 10 months - an amazing achievement.

All of our dogs are pets who live in our house as part of our family. We breed only very occassionally when we would like a puppy for ourselves. All our dogs are health screened in line with KC recommendations.
