Jamniska

Together with my husband we have many years expierience in exhibiting the GSD. Our dogs come from German bloodlines and we try to adhere to the WUSV principles.
We made our first champion up in 1995 and all current Jamniska stock are decended from her, Ch Alatrak Banma.
All of our dogs are BVA/KC hipscored or scored under the German `A stamp scheme.
We are currently moving forward with other German health schemes including elbow x-rays and DNA testing.
In trying to standardise our GSD`s with the international community we are currently training for BH qualifications with a view to full schutzhund training.

We are both members of the British German Shepherd Dog Training Club for over twenty years.
Steven is head breed trainer and is currently into his fifth year as chairman.

Steven is also a member of the newly created British Regional Group, an organisation created to promote WUSV Regional/Landesgruppen shows in this country.
These events have been set up with the primary purpose of promoting truly `fit for purpose` German Shepherds where health tests are mandatory for dogs that enter over two years old.

We are both active members of Bolton Schutzhund Club where all of our dogs have either been trained or are currently in training to a minimum of BH qualification.

2010 saw Dinura Luca with Steven handling pass his BH and AD. Judge Herr Rudiger Schmidt on both occasions.

2011 saw Jamniska Raisa pass her BH under VDH President Herr Pofessor Peter Friedrich

2012 promises to be a busy but hopefully successful year with Lima and Laviva vd Wilhelmswarte, Jamniska Tarja all training towards their BH with Kathleen, and Jamniska Raisa going for her Schutzhund 1 with Steven.

In 2010 we purchased as puppies Lima and Laviva from one of the top German Kennnels `Wilhelmswarte`. Along with our own bloodlines thes two stunning females will form the future of Jamniska German Shepherds.
