We are a small kennel of three Goldens and one Newfoundland living on the outskirts of a Devon village.
We bought our first Golden in 1969 but didn't really become active in the breed until the late 1970's. We have had some success with showing our dogs, at first our daughter did all the showing and agility but since she left home we have taken over the showing. We also have three Persian cats.
All our dogs have the relevant health checks as recommended by the Kennel Club and BVA.
When breeding a litter our first consideration as well as hip scores, and clear eyes is the temperament of the stud dog. The puppies are reared in the house giving them plenty of experience of everyday houshold life. They also go into an outside run for part of the day once they are old enough.
All our puppies are K.C. registered, they leave here with enought food for the first three days in a new home, a diet sheet, a booklet on handy hints for rearing the puppy for the first year plus of course a pedigree. We are at theend of a telephone should anyone need advice once they have their puppy. |
