This is the life! Marigold, Merry and our little cream girl Sadie doing what they like best, snoozing by the fire.

Shanpave as a kennel dates from the 60's and is the affix of Gwen Holbourn who still takes a very active role in the dog world as president of the Standard Poodle Club, and is co owner of Marigold. She entrusted me with the affix and we are going forward with the same aims . Good health and lovely temperaments are the watchword of Shanpave and we will not breed unless confident that the puppies will be well made, healthy and make a lovely addition to the home.
I adore the apricot colour, for me it is the sunshine that races in from the garden in the morning. Show success will always come second as an aim after temperament . When it all comes together it is such a bonus.
