Dusk celebrated her 13th birthday on the 1.8.2008, and although retired from the show ring she still enjoys going across the fields every day.

This is a small select kennel, only breeding occasionally. It was founded in 1977 with Shargleam Black Orchid 1 CC., from which all our present day stock are descended.


My daughter Louise, keeps the males, Braemist Carlyon, Avening Storm Whisper at Braemist and Braemist Ocean Kestrel (see the Braemist Flatcoated Retriever page on Champdogs) , the bitches live with me - Ch Braemist River Dusk, Braemist Linn of Dee and Madison Rose Orchid for Braemist.

Louise serves as Treasurer of the Flatcoated Retriever Society and Val Jones serves on the Health Sub-Committee of the Flatcoated Retriever Society.
