Holly photo by: Margaret Manchester | Holly was my first labrador. I bought her in the spring of 2001 when she was a 7 week old puppy. I wanted a family pet that I could trust, to grow up with my two sons and she was fantastic with them.
She has an excellent temperament and adores children. When she was a puppy I took her into the local primary school and talked to the children about caring for pets. Those children still come to see her. She grew into a good looking labrador.
Holly's pedigree contains both show and field trial champions. Her hip score is 4/4 and her eyes are unaffected. She has had one litter of pups and we kept a black bitch from this litter, Pepsi.

Pepsi photo by: Margaret Manchester | Pepsi is a beautiful black bitch, born in June 2003. Her mother is Holly and her father is Radical Rolo at Stonecellars.
She is the kindest and most gentle labrador that you could wish for. She has a quiet, loyal temperament and is always eager to please. She was very easy to train!
She is a lovely looking girl and always has a fantastic shine to her coat.
Pepsi's hip score is 3/6. She is from a mixture of working and show lines. She has had three litters of pups and is an exceptional mother. We kept a pup from her second litter, Jess. |
Jess photo by: Margaret Manchester | Jess is a young yellow bitch born in June 2006. Her mother is Pepsi and father FTCH Saxaphone Express.
In looks she takes after her father who is a field trial champion. She is althetic, strong and agile.
The working side is also prevalent in her temperament. She is energetic, playful and obedient. She is very eager to please and loves to retrieve absolutely anything!
Her hip score is 3/5 and her first litter was born May 2008. |
DJ photo by: Margaret Manchester | I acquired DJ in April 2007, from the Toradalriada kennels in Scotland, where he was used as a stud dog. Previously he had been a show dog and excelled but his show career was ended prematurely when he lost a tooth catching a stone! He was never unplaced at show level and took VCH in special yearling and 3rd in post Graduate Dog at the Scottish Kennel Club Champion Show in 2002.
He has settled in here very well. He loves playing outdoors with the girls. His favourite part of our garden is the pond!
Please see the link to his page below.

My dogs are first and foremost family pets and all of the girls live indoors. I am not a commercial breeder and believe that quality is much more important that quantity.
My aim is to breed responsibly and to produce labradors with the qualities that make them excellent pets, by combining the best characteristics of show and working labradors. All of our pups are lovingly reared in the family home. |
