We started in the show ring with relative success. Danny was lightly campaigned achieving: many BPIBs, BOBs, Group Placings, BPIG, BIG's, Res. BPIS, BPIS, and Best In Show at Open Level.
Many placings, including firsts and his Stud Book No. at Championship Shows

Gradually, we became more interested in Obedience Competition. Danny has won out of Pre-Beginners and Beginners Obedience classes and is presently working Novice and 'A', where he has gained several placings. Other notable awards include:

Weimaraner Club of Great Britain's 'Weimaraner of the Year' 2001 and 2000. Awarded for his achievements in Obedience Competitions and Breed Shows.
Runner up to the W.C.G.B's Bruno Trophy Award winner 2001
Eastern Areas Best Obedience Gundog 2001 & 2002

The Kennel Club Good Citizens Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards by 18 months of age.

Danny also competed at a couple of Working Trials and gained a fourth place in UD.

The latest addition to our family is a Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer, seen here at 7 weeks.

Fuzy is proving to have an excellent nose and is making steady progress in Working Trials.

We are proud to announce that he is the first British Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer to gain Working Trials Qualifications.

In 2008 he has Qualified CDex & UDex

16/5/08 Ansona Brigadier (Fuzy) Qualified CDex at a Championship Trial held by the Scottish Working Trials Society

On the 9/3/08 Fuzy Qualified UDex at Lincolnshire German Shepherd Dog & All Breeds Training Society Championship Trial and was placed 4th

11/11/07 Fuzy completed all the exercises and Qualified in UD (open), gaining a Certificate of Merit at Lincolnshire German Shepherd and all Breeds Training Society

22/9/07 Fuzy was placed 4th in UD (open) but unfortunately did not gain a certificate of merit - due to breaking his down stay after 9 mins.

7/7/07 Fuzy qualified in CD (open), gaining a Certificate of Merit .
He made this extra special by also winning the stake at North East Counties Open Working Trial.
I believe this makes him the first Slovakian to gain a working trial award in this country.

My first Weimaraner was Rhannigal Jeorge, 2.4.86 - 22.12.98.
A very happy dog, although not easy to show, and even as a veteran he found it hard to keep four feet on the ground in the show ring. However he was almost always placed at Championship Shows and gained his Stud No. and a Res. CC.

My second was Sh. Ch. Gunalt Gaultier JW.

A true all rounder, this faithfull dog showed great hunting ability, as well as talent in agility and obedience, coming home with several placings. But his show record says it all, he was a real showman:
9 CC (Crufts 92) 11 Res. CC., In 1992 he was twice placed Reserve to the overall winner of the Champion Stakes, at East of England and City of Birmingham. Placed in the last four in the group, at Three Counties Ch Sh.1991, before the days of Group placings.
Show Weimaraner of the Year 1990 at both the WCGB and TWA.
At open Show level 12 BIS (including WCGB & TWA 92) 7 Res. BIS, and 17 BIG.

My third was Heortness Hirschenjager a son of Gaultier's. DOB. 27.9.92 - 22.8.03.
Jimmy was never what you would call an easy dog to show, prefering to hunt, play games, anything! However he had his share of successess in the ring.
Usually in the cards at Championship Shows, gaining his Stud Book Number and many first placings.
