SARSHAN

I have always loved dogs and showed my first dog (a rough collie),over 40 years ago, before I was married. My husband David and I also showed and bred Dobermans for a number of years before fulfilling a long held ambition and getting our first Great Dane around thirty years ago. From then on we could not imagine our lives without Danes in them!
We were granted the kennel name “Sarshan” in the early 1980s and began breeding our own lines, which our present girls can still be traced back to. Ours is a small hobby kennel and our main aim is to breed dogs of sound temperament and type. In the last decade we have been persuaded by our son to branch out into another breed and so we now also breed Labradors. Although Danes will always be our first love we are now besotted with Labradors as well!
